Money: The Only Way to Grant Abortion Rights for All
I wrote a tongue in cheek blog many years ago whereby I contrived that banning vasectomies was the only way to level the playing field so all humans had access to body autonomy. It was a playful warning, in light of woman losing body autonomy. Well, unfortunately the time for games is over. With Roe VS Wade being overturned today, we need to get serious, and address this head on: the only path forward is to make all parties who create life accountable. And by accountable, I mean, hit back in the only place left, the wallet.
As anyone who has seen “All the Presidents Men” should know, the solution to most problems is to follow the money. Here and now, I no longer care about following. The time is now, to go beyond that, and instead we must be proactive, and create a new countermeasure to the pro-life movement that they will finally understand. The solution: a clear cut, fiscal plan for every child that is born.
Financial and Emotional Burden
Without mincing words, the sperm provider needs to be financially responsible, and the womb host, physically responsible. There is simply no other way to divide this up. I use sperm and womb because I believe all humans have rights when it comes to procreation and that includes trans rights.
